About God - There is only one God who is to be worshiped. God is spirit and does not possess a bodily form. He has always existed from the beginning. He created the universe and everything in it including human beings. God is present everywhere at the same time which distinguishes him from all other creatures. God is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in his being and has attributes such as wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and love. There are three Persons in the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit who is the triune God, one in Trinity, equal in power and glory.
About Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second Person of the Trinity who is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead after three days demonstrating his power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday for believers and will reign supreme as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
About Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is the third Person of Trinity who is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for salvation through Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.
About the Bible – God has revealed himself to us through the Bible, the Word of God. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Since it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
About Human Beings - People are made in the image of God, to be like him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are tainted by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in our lives.
About Salvation - Salvation is God's free gift given to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ through God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we confess and repent for our sins, and profess faith in Jesus Christ, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his or her life by faith.
About Last things - Although there are many different views of what will possibly take place in the last days, three events are assured. One, Jesus Christ will return; two, there will be a resurrection of the body for those who have died in Christ; and there will be a great white throne of judgment. People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God because of sin, or live eternally with God as a result of forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is to be in hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.
